BRIEF: Have you ever heard of vitamin D being related to deafness?


QUESTION:
Have you ever heard of a high dose of DHT (Vitamin D) being related to deafness? Specifically, 5x the normal dose prescribed over a period of about 2 months. I am very interested in any information you would have on this.

ANSWER:

No, but I don't know why 5X the normal dose would be prescribed in the first place. If this was a high enough dose to cause soft tissue deposition of calcium, perhaps that is interfering with hearing? In that case, deposition near the renal arteries would have raise blood pressure, too...
