QUESTION:
I am looking for a picture and information about Meadow Saffron (Colchicum autumnale, Family: N.O. Liliaccae) and gene therapy information.

ANSWER:

I think I have a picture somewhere. try here: http://www.ansci.cornell.edu/courses/as625/625fieldtrip98/colchium.jpg This plant has a seriuos toxin that fouls up cell division and is used to induce polyploidy in plant cells. I am not sure what its application to gene therapy might be.
